The Business Development Associate is a role of vital importance to the successful growth, progress, and direction of Rudram Engineering. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Associate is to gain new clients and build new business, either through commercial or government work. Unlike many traditional Business Development roles, you will not be given a book of existing clients and a continuous list of leads. At Rudram Engineering, successful Business Development Associates view the position as the chance to build and nourish their own set of clients and customers. RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Work to form new client relationships, continually develop those relationships, and maintain and nurture those relationships into the future.
  • Promote and market company’s engineering services, both in the commercial and government sectors, as well as generating sales for the company’s engineering products, more specifically, powerful Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products.
  • Assist in the creation of sales and marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engage company-client interaction, and build revenue.
  • Conduct market research, produce insightful analysis, and develop tailored approaches to successfully convert leads into conference calls, meetings, and eventually satisfied customers.
  • Attend and coordinate strategic marketing and networking events including conferences, agency and prime contractor opportunity days, pre-solicitation meetings, supplier diversity events, matchmaking sessions, etc.
  • Identifying solicitations in which the company has a strong win probability and assist in writing proposals.
  • Assist with online advertising, developing a social media presence, and help with the recruitment of resources to staff projects.
  • A variety of other day-to-day activities; as business priorities constantly shift, you will be expected to adjust your focus accordingly.
